Rosetown is going to be grooving this week and next. The annual music festival kicked off on Monday marking this the 95th year they have had the privilege of sharing local music and culture.

Awards and scholarships will be handed out. Each portion will have an adjudicator to judge and give feedback to help grow the performer within their craft. A full itinerary is available on their Facebook , but things of note are:

  • There are multiple piano performances are planned.
  • Vocal and speech arts are shaking things up next week, which include poetry public speaking, and singing covering a wide range.
  • Artist playing anything and everything for instrumentals highlights the following week
  • Closing things off is the music competition awards concert that Thursday.

If you like to see what goes into making this happen or want to get more involved, the festival's annual meeting will be on May 7th where all are welcome.
