Residents in Saskatchewan set another record!

A power consumption record that is.

The new consumption record was set around 6:30 Monday night when the SaskPower's meter hit 31-hundred and 94 megawatts of power consumed.

It beat the previous record set Sunday, when homeowners cranked their furnaces after a mass of Arctic air settled over the province.

SaskPower says by comparison, it only takes about 200 megawatts to run the entire city of Regina for an average day.
