Saskatchewan is officially home to the longest-serving female cabinet minister ever in Canada, at either the federal or provincial level. The Honourable Donna Harpauer is the current MLA for Humboldt-Watrous, and Saskatchewan's current Deputy Premier and Finance Minister.

The record was made official as of January 4th, as Premier Scott Moe confirmed the news with a post on X Thursday morning.

"Donna has been and continues to be a valued member of every cabinet since the day the Saskatchewan Party took office in 2007." Moe shared on social media.
