Local senior baseball teams have been busy in June. There were a handful of games on Tuesday night across the Fertile Valley Baseball League, North Saskatchewan River Baseball League, and Coteau Hills Baseball League.

Things are getting busier with summer almost officially here. The FVBL is in full swing with teams playing multiple games a week, the NSRBL is trucking on with the June portion of their season, and the CHBL is about to enter playoffs with the fifth and final week of the regular season wrapping up Sunday.

Anyone wanting to catch a game to end the week is in luck. Beginning with the CHBL, action the rest of the week sees Beechy hosting Riverhurst on Wednesday, Eston visiting Elrose on Thursday, and Dinsmore hitting the road against the Outlook Riverhawks on Friday.

Local action in the NSRBL has Unity in Lashburn on Thursday, and Wilkie playing Friday at home against Mervin, before a Sunday road trip doubleheader in Lashburn and Lloydminster.

The FVBL keeps the ball rolling Wednesday with Oyen visiting Rosetown, a pair of games Thursday with the Kindersley Cubs in Eatonia, and the Stallions and Klippers playing an-all Kindersley matchup, that before some Sunday action of their own as the Kindersley Raiders are set to cross the border to face the Oyen Eagles.
