The Spring Into Action event saw a decent turnout despite the cooler temperatures.

Clouds, rain and wind were all a factor during the Spring Into Action Event which was done on The Rose Trail in Rosetown. This is an event in which promotes a healthy lifestyle by staying fit, and getting out of the house for exercise.

This event is opened to all people of all ages, and is simply just a fun-free event. There was a 2 kilometre event as well as a 5 kilometre event to choose from.

Many people ran in separate groups with the competitive runners going together, and then the amateur runners going at their own pace. Everyone was striving to do their very best, and finish the marathon in the quickest amount of time possible.

Money was not a factor to enter this marathon, because the organizers weren't looking for money. Simply just promoting a healthy lifestyle, and being active within the community can go a long ways to a happy lifestyle.

Organizers gave away entry prizes as well as participation prizes to all of those that gave the marathon a chance.
