Senior hockey is getting down to the nitty gritty, as at least one champion will be crowned this weekend. That series sees the Dodsland Sr. Stars up against the Kerrobert Sr. Tigers in the CRHL final. With a win tonight, the visiting Stars can celebrate in enemy territory. But if the hometown Tigers, who are coming off their best effort in quite some time in Dodsland this past Sunday, can win in their home barn, the winner take all game five goes tomorrow at the Tin Garden in Dodsland. Puck drop between the Tigers and Stars tonight is 8:00 pm.

Looking at the SWHL, the Kindersley Sr. Klippers are in Wilkie tonight, facing an Outlaws team who has not lost all season long and are the overwhelming favourites in the SWHL final. The Klippers are playing their best hockey of the season, however, and are coming off dramatic come-from-behind victories against the Hafford Hawks in the semifinal series. Wilkie swept Macklin in the other semifinal series. Puck drop between the Outlaws and Klippers from the Wilkie Civic Center is 8:30 tonight.

Speaking of Macklin, they can punch their ticket to the Senior D provincial final with a win over Delisle on the road tomorrow night at 8:00. The Wilkie Outlaws are also alive in Senior C provincials, as they are awaiting the victor of the Kyle Elks vs Carnduff Red Devils series with game two in Kyle tomorrow night. Carnduff doubled up the Elks 6-3 in game one.
