West-central Saskatchewan is looking at a wet start to the work-week.

With more moisture looming after last week's rainfall around the area, the forecast for the week is in, showing about 20 mm of rainfall over the next couple of days. Gusting winds of up to 60 km/h are expected over the next few days, and as you can see below, there is also a risk of thunderstorms.

Monday is reading about 5-10 mm of rain in most areas, while between 10-15 mm could fall alone on Tuesday. Speaking with Environment Canada last week, meteorologist Terri Lang said the severity of the system would be dependent on how far it tracks to the north.

A sunny stretch should begin after the partly cloudy day on Wednesday. View the extended forecast for the area by clicking HERE.
