Elizabeth Middle School and Westberry Elementary School will be taking part in the annual Terry Fox run\walk today at 1 p.m. in Kindersley.

Parents and those interested in bringing awareness for cancer research are welcome to join the students in support of the Marathon of Hope.

Students from Elizabeth Middle School are encouraged to bring toonies for the Terry Fox Foundation. The toonies will be displayed in the office, and for every two dollars given, students will be able to enter their name in a draw to “silly string” Elizabeth School Principal Tammy Diemert. A donation booth will be set up at noon, where students can enter their names in the draw. Separate donations can be brought to classrooms, and those who give more than $10.00, and would like to receive a receipt from the Terry Fox Foundation must include a mailing address.

The Terry Fox School Run is one of the largest fundraisers in Canada, as millions of students participate throughout the country.
