It is back to the highways today for many people wrapping up this August long weekend but there are some things to keep in mind while driving.
Corporal Heather Wale with the Kindersley RCMP explains that there will be a lot more traffic on the road than normal. Drivers should also be aware that a lot of people are in a hurry to get to their destinations and, therefore, will be driving much more recklessly.
You must take all precautions so as to keep safe during the increased traffic.
Wale also says that there will be a higher number of patrol units out in force due to all the extra people out on the highways.
