Rosetown local Kendall McFaul has some high hopes of one day playing in the NHL. He is now one step closer to that dream as the Atlanta Thrashers have come knocking.
Kendall was drafted to the Atlanta Thrashers at this year's NHL Entry Draft and has just returned home from his first rookie camp.
Kendall, currently a defenseman for the MooseJaw Warriors, recently attended the Thrasher's rookie training camp. He says the rookies skated 3 times a day including an off-ice workout and that he enjoyed the experience very much.
For now, it's continued training over the summer months before heading back to Atlanta in Fall before returning to the MooseJaw Warriors for another season.
