Nick Trenciansky and Clive Rozdeba of the Kindersley Klippers have been named Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League players of the week in their respective positions.

Nick Trenciansky earned Goaltender of the Week honours just over a week after being acquired by the Klippers from the BCHL's Langley Rivermen. Trenciansky picked up an impressive 52-save shutout against the Bruins in Estevan on Saturday night to end a huge week. The Klippers goalie also had 29 saves in the 8-3 win over the Red Wings in Weyburn on Friday. Trenciansky had a .966 save percentage during the week, and is 2-0-and-1 overall with a 2.48 goals against average, and a .943 save percentage with the Klippers.

The Kindersley Klippers blueliner Clive Rozdeba has been named Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in the last month. The 6’3” 225 lbs defensemen picked up five points this week highlighted by a 2-goal, 2-assist effort on Friday against the Weyburn Red Wings. Rozdeba has 16 assists, and 3 goals in the 20 games he has played this season.

The Kindersley Klippers are back at home tonight after a three-game road trip taking on the La Ronge Ice Wolves. The game is scheduled for 7:30 PM at West Central Events Centre.
