The University of Saskatchewan Huskies hosted the Calgary Dinos over the weekend, splitting the games in Rutherford Rink.

Starting the season 2 and oh for the first time since 2009-10 the Huskies continued their dominant play on Friday defeating the Dinos 3-2.

Kindersley's Kennedy Harris had an assist on the Huskies opening goal, her first point on the season. Marley Ervine chipped in with a power play goal in the second period while Kori Herner added a helper on the Huskies 3rd goal.

Kassidy Hendricks got the Win in net, stopping 18 of 20 shots.

Saturday's game, the Huskies led going into the third period before the Dinos scored two unanswered goals, winning 3-2. Harris added an assist to sit with two points through four games. Also chipping in during the game was Herner with her first goal of the season. She now has three points on the year. Ervine was held off the score sheet in Saturdays game, however she too has three points through four games.

Jessica Waltz made 26 of 29 possible saves in the Huskies loss.

U of S now sits with a record of 3 and 1.

The Huskies prepare this week for their weekend series in Lethbridge on the 16th and 17th. The games can be viewed online at canadawest.tv.
