West central residents aged 55 and over may want to make a quick run into Kindersley today. The Saskatchewan Health Authority is operating a walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the local Elk's Hall.

The clinic will be operating from 9:00am until 3:00pm or until supplies of vaccine last. According to material provided by the Health Authority, they will be administering doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine. The AstraZeneca vaccine does require a booster at a later date.

To receive vaccine you will be required to provide your Saskatchewan Health Card or personal identification at the door. If you attend to receive the vaccine at the clinic, but had previously book an appointment, you will be asked to cancel the later booking.

The clinic will be operating on a first-come, first-served basis.
