Unity Composite High School 

The UCHS JR Boys Basketball team competed in BattleWest Districts yesterday at JPII.

The boys defeated North Battleford Comp in the semi - final 50-27 to earn them a chance for gold against the top ranked John Paul II Collegiate. The Warriors worked hard the whole game, taking the lead in the third quarter.

But the size of JPII was too much to manage. UCHS won Silver and the boys should be proud of their growth and accomplishment.

The JR Girls Basketball team as they too competed in BattleWest Districts yesterday at JPII in North Battleford.

The girls had a great season and finished up winning the bronze medal.

The junior boys basketball KCS 1 and 2 both beat Elizabeth and Outlook and then KCS 1 (black) defeated KCS 2 (white) in the final 51-39.

The senior girls went two and two this weekend in Outlook. They played hard and are looking forward to their game on Monday against Eatonia

The senior boys tournament team beat Biggar last Saturday and won on Sunday vs Delisle, then lost a close one to Clavet.

 NWCS Basketball

The NWCS Jr. Boys Basketball Team will be hosting District Playoffs this evening in Plenty at the NWCS gym with basketball action happening all afternoon.

The jr. Boys will play Eston at 1 pm and if they win they will play at 5 pm in the final or if the team loses, they will play at 3:45 in the consolation.
