The 2023 SHSAA Golf Provincial Championship was held in Elbow over the weekend.

Kyle Composite School's Chloe Wills once again had a strong showing, winning silver in the individual event, and she also helped West Central take home bronze in the team event. 

Wills managed to shoot 83 on Day 1 and 85 on Day 2 for a total of 168 and second place. Kindersley's Ayla Stevens managed 95 on Day 1, and 101 on Day 2 to finish 9th overall. 

Ella Kozak from Yorkton Sacred Heart managed an impressive 71 on Day 1, and a 73 on Day 2 to win the individual event.

As for the District team scores, West Central shot 170 on Day 1, and 178 on Day 2, for a total of 348 and third place. Saskatoon won the team event, with a total score of 336. 

Looking at the male championship, Waman's Dane Giesbrecht shot an impressive 69 on Day 1, before shotting 73 on Day 2 to win the individual event.

Outlook's Alex Phillips managed to shoot an 85 an d86 for a total of 171, and Eston's Colton Simpson shot a 90 and 83 for a total of 173.

Nash Sperle from Unity shot 175 in two days, and Outlook's Brody Harris shot 179.
