With the blizzard a linger memory, its hard not to look at the weather forecast, see snow and cringe. Don’t lose hope, one of the brightest minds at environment Canada is here to reassure us that its not as scary as it seems.

Our very own Cooper Douglas spoke with Justin Shelley, meteorologist with environment and climate change Canada and got the complete low down.

“Thankfully we aren’t expecting anything quite near as significant this next time around, there's going to be a weaker system moving through the area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning...” Mr Shelley reassuringly exclaimed. “...The west central region just expecting a sort of new skiff of snow for the Tuesday night and Wednesday morning period, with potentially a few extra centimeters of fresh snow to fall during that time...”

Don’t lose hope thinking this is going to be hanging around for a long time though, having entered into “Meteorological Spring” we are getting more light with more impact of snow melt.

“...We do see it warm up later in the week, with a bit more sun which should help to start to melt some of the snow, but how warm we actually get into next week is still to be seen. But there is a likely hood we will get above the freezing mark...” Explained Shelley.

Spring may have sprung a little late but looking ahead as of reporting, its right around the corner.
