The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers were back in action against the Yorkton Terriers last night at the West Central Events Centre. They were looking to avenge a 7-6 shootout loss last week to Yorkton and it was another close game last night. The Klippers got on the board first on a goal by Scott McKenzie on the power play. But the Terriers responded just 50 seconds later on a goal by Jordan Guiney to tie the game and that's the way it stayed after one.

The Klippers then got on the board half way through the second period on a goal by Tyler Traptow at the 8:19 mark. Kindersley held on to that lead until late in the third period out shooting Yorkton 47-32 overall in the game.

The Terriers got a second goal from Guiney on a nice individual effort as he walked around the defence and put one in against Hudson Killem, who came in goal in the third because of an apparent injury to starter Matthew Pesenti. Then sniper Chantz Petruic came in across the blue line and scored what turned out to be the winning goal with just under one minute left to go in the third period as Yorkton held on for the 3-2 victory.

The Klippers will now head on the road for two games starting on Friday against the Nipawin Hawks before heading to Melfort to take on the Mustangs on Saturday. The next home game will be on November 19 against the Estevan Bruins at 7:30 at the West Central Events Centre.
