It was an exciting win for the Kindersley Stallions as they faced off with the Oyen Eagles for the second game in the championship series.

The Stallions faced off with the Eagles and won their first game with a score of 5-4 in Kindersley. On Wednesday, the Stallions travelled to Oyen for the second game.

The Stallions took away a score of 9-7 and won the "A" divison finals!

Austin Jamieson, of the Kindersley Stallions, said that the overall their season went very well, "We went 9-3 and finished first in the regular season. In playoffs we won our series against Rosetown 2-1 and then swept Oyen in the finals 2-0."

"Everyone played really good in the final game, Blake Robertson pitched it all. We also got a two-run home run in the fifth inning, which was pretty big."

Jamieson said the Stallions will be going to Provincials in Lloydminister starting August 9.

As for the "B" division finals the, the Kindersley Royals traveled to Elrose last night to face the Aces. The game went to seven innings with the scored tied 7 to 7. But dusk was creeping up on the diamond, and it was decided the game would be paused and continued next Wednesday.

The Elrose Aces & Kindersley Stallions will complete game 1, and begin game 2 on August 7th in Kindersley.
