The Rosetown Curling Club is set for another season of fun season and good times at the rink once again this winter season. The Curling club held their league registration and had their annual general meeting on October 15 with four different leagues getting set to open up during the first week of November. First planning to start up is the Monday afternoon Seniors league which plans to start on November 4 with games slated to start at 1:30 pm where coffee is always on after the draw for everyone involved. Registration costs $155 for teams to play and the league plans to end on Mar 30, 2020.

According to Alana Ritz, who runs the Rosetown Curling Club, the season is starting a week later then it usually does because the ice went in later than usual. The men's league should have the same numbers as last season with 15 teams playing. They are still looking for teams to play in the women's league with four teams registered so far. For the Seniors there are around 10 people registered but she expects that the numbers should rise as the season gets closer to starting.

Women’s league plans to get under way on Tuesday November 5 with games starting at 7 pm and socializing afterwards upstairs in the lounge. Registration costs $185 for the teams to enter with games going to March 24, 2020. Open doubles are planning to start on Wednesday evenings on November 6 with registration costing $185 to join. Draws are planned to start at 7:30 pm  with the last draw happening April 1, 2020. Lastly, Men’s league games are planned to start on Thursday November 7. First draws start at 6:30 pm with more to follow at 8:30 pm. The cost is $185 to play with the last draw on April 2, 2020.

An open doubles spiel is happening early this season on November 23. It will be doubles curling rules which is a faster paced game. It has a similar format to the curling stakes spiel that usually occurs during this time. It is open to any combination of players, ladies, men's or mixed with registration beginning on October 22 at 10 am. All registration can be done on the Rosetown Curling club website which is rosetown.curling.io/leagues.
