The Kindersley, Kerrobert and Eston RCMP outlined numerous calls including assault, break and enters and theft in the recent activity report.

In Kindersley, there were 2 reports of assault with a weapon, one instance outlined several historical accounts of assault by a common-law spouse and the other reported 2 males being threatened with a weapon, both cases are still under investigation.

In Eston, an individual was reported leaving a residence with items from the home, RCMP state this individual was also involved in another call and has been charged with several offences including break and enter, theft under $5000 and failure to comply with condition of undertaking. The male has been remanded in Saskatoon.

And a report of theft from a worksite in the RM of Winslow was reported stating numerous items were taken including oil, batteries, fuel and cords were taken. This matter is still under investigation.

The remaining calls for service for the week ending June 9, 2019 are as follows:
CRIMINAL CODE:
ASSAULT x 3 - RM of Snipe Lake - report of spousal assault which had taken place earlier in the week, SUI; RM of Milton - Male arrested after report of domestic assault, SUI; RM of Winslow - report of assault between 2 males that had taken place earlier, SUI.
BREAK & ENTER x 2 - Eston - stolen items recovered from break and enter that occurred earlier; Kerrobert - report of males entering a residence which currently does not have a tenant. No charges laid at this time.
CONTROLLED DRUGS ACT - Eatonia - report of suspicious bag found in public area. Test revealed substance to not be any form of drug.
FAIL TO COMPLY WITH CONDITION OF UNDERTAKING - Eston - male previously charged with break and enter, etc, now charged for possession of stolen property and failing to comply with condition of undertaking.
FRAUD - Kindersley - individual asked to purchase Google Play cards and send them to the person calling. Individual purchased cards, but did not send them after realizing this was a fraud. No charges laid at this time.
MISCHIEF x 4 - Kindersley - report of boot prints on window of vacant home. Entry not gained. No charges laid at this time; Eston - report of someone possibly trying to break into a residence. Police attended and found broken window, which appears to have come off the previous night during a wind storm; Kindersley - report of unwanted person at a residence. Call originated from different residence. Police attended and were advised there was nobody at the residence. No charges laid at this time;
OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE IMPAIRED x 4 - Kindersley - call of individual slumped over steering wheel of parked vehicle. Investigation revealed person not to be impaired, but just tired and resting; Kindersley - as a result of a motor vehicle collision, one male arrested and charged; Kindersley - report of possible impaired person travelling toward Kindersley, SUI; Kindersley - report of intoxicated male leaving a liquor establishment. Police attended, vehicle not located; Kerrobert - report of intoxicated male leaving a business and may require medical assistance. Police and EMS attended, SUI.
THEFT UNDER $5000 x 3 - RM of Grandview - items recovered from a theft that had not been discovered yet. All items returned to owner, SUI; Kindersley - report of license plate taken off of a parked trailer, SUI;
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE - RM of Heart's Hill - report of vehicle possibly being purchased fraudulently, SUI; Kindersley - report of vehicle theft some time over the weekend. Owner was notified by Chestermere RCMP that the license plate had been recovered there, SUI

PROVINCIAL:
ABANDONED VEHICLE x 2 - RM of Milton - Report of motorcycle sitting on the side of the road with no one around. Police attended, bike was gone; Kindersley - report of truck sitting on private property belonging to someone else. Checks done, not stolen.
OTHER MOVING TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS x 4 - RM of Kindersley - report of large truck driving on the center line, forcing oncoming traffic onto the shoulder, SUI; RM of Kindersley - report of large truck tailgating a vehicle through a construction zone. Patrols made, vehicle not located. No charges laid at this time; report of intoxicated female leaving liquor establishment and driving away. Patrols made, vehicle not located. RM of Kindersley -report of vehicle passing another vehicle and cutting the complainant's vehicle off, striking the moose guard on the front of the vehicle. Complainant did not want charges, just wanted driver spoken to.
OTHER NON-MOVING TRAFFIC x 2 - RM OF MILTON - report of a rolled vehicle, still running, with no one around. Ground search involving a police dog and the Saskatoon police initiated to locate the driver. Driver located several hours later. RM of Oakdale - 1 ticket issued.
OTHER PROVINCIAL STATUTES x 2 - RM of Kindersley - caller advised he will be spraying crops close to town with airplane. Reported for information purposes in case any reports come in; Kindersley - call of line down in an alley. Nothing criminal in nature.
PERSON REPORTED MISSING - RM of Milton - Male involved in vehicle rollover was subject of a search by surrounding Detachments, Police Dog Unit and Saskatoon Police Service Airplane. Male was located; Kindersley - report of female with health issued missing from her residence. Police and EMS performed search. Female was located and returned to her home.
SPEEDING x 9 - RM of Kindersley, RM of Milton, RM of Chesterfield - 8 tickets issued, 1 warning issued
SUSPICIOUS PERSON/VEHICLE x 8 - Kindersley - report of vehicle parking in an alley and occupants leaving on bicycles. No evidence of criminal activity; Kindersley - report of people on bicycles loading something from a vehicle and leaving the scene, SUI; Dodsland - report of vehicle driving on the streets at night with no lights on. Police attended, vehicle not located; RM of Grandview - report of trailer sitting on private property, with contents believed to be stolen. Items and trailer returned to owners; RM of Grandview - report of vehicle sitting on the side of the road for several days. Owner located. Nothing criminal in nature; RM of Oakdale - report of vehicle vehicle with windows smashed, and no license plate, sitting in the ditch with no one around. Police attended. Checks revealed vehicle to be stolen out of Calgary, SUI; Kindersley - report of male on bike with several power tools, SUI; Kindersley - report of 2 males sitting in front of a residence for over 30 minutes. Police attended, vehicle not located.
