In the Rosetown RCMP report for the weeks of April 10-24, 2020, members received 16 calls of complaint.

On April 10th, Rosetown RCMP reported to a firearm injury near Brock. Police and EMS attended, and an 88 year old male was airlifted to Saskatoon by STARS and later pronounced deceased. An investigation found the matter non-suspicious in nature.

On April 11th, Rosetown RCMP were dispatched to the Rose Villa nursing home in town, and assisted in finding a missing patient who had wandered off. Members also responded to an individual who had been living in Rosetown, but no longer had a place to stay. Members relocated the individual to a shelter in Saskatoon.

Earlier in the month Rosetown members were dispatched to a Break and Enter at an uninhabited farm north of Rosetown. Between the dates of April 4-12, 2020, two rifles were stolen from the property. Members were also called to Elrose the next morning to investigate a fire hydrant that had been driven over and knocked off. It is believed that it happened earlier the previous evening.

On April 15th, Rosetown RCMP were requested to check on the well-being of a 95 year-old man in town. RCMP and EMS attended the scene where they found the man with minor injuries due to a fall within the previous 24 hours, after he was unable to call for help. During the night of April 15th, members responded to a domestic violence call to a Rosetown residence. Police found both adult occupants to be intoxicated upon arrival, and the female was found to be the aggresor. She was released to the care of a family member.

On April 17th and April 19th, members responded to a Break and Enter to a storage container at the AGT Centre in Rosetown. The matters are still under investigation. Later on during the 17th, RCMP responded to another B&E at Integrity RV Service in Rosetown, and that matter is also still under investigation. Later on that afternoon Rosetown RCMP received a mischief complaint that a semi tractor/trailer backed into the sign and post at A&W in Rosetown.

Two matters of B&E from the prior night are also currently under investigation, after a prescription medication theft at a residence in Zealandia, and money was stolen from the United Church in Rosetown.

On April 20th, Rosetown RCMP responded to a call of Mischief at the Rosetown Dental office. A suspect attempted to gain entry through the rear door of the building but was unsuccesful, the matter is currently under investigation. Later that night RCMP were called to respond to a report of Mischief at the Rosetown Community Church. A suspect broke the lockbox on the outside of the building off, and stole the contents within. This is currently under investigation.

Between April 10 and 24th, Rosetown RCMP also dealt with two noise complaints, four requests to assist the general public, six complaints of aggressive drivers, four false 911 calls and two false alarms.
