Biggar recently held it’s annual Christmas Trade Show to help raise some money for the Biggar Skating Club.

On Saturday, the Biggar Community Hall became filled with various vendors selling their homemade goods, and guests who were eager to see just what those goods were.

Those who came down to the trade show could also enjoy a soup and sandwich lunch, as well as a bake sale. As many as 30 vendors filled the hall, and the event as a whole was very well attended.

With the combined profits from the bake sale, and the vendors, who had to pay $30 to set up a table, the Trade Show was easily able to make over $1,000, which is consistent with previous years.

Lauri-Ann Larochelle, the coordinator for the event, shared what kinds of goods and items were available.

“We had different crafters there, with all kinds of mukluks that were homemade, to Christmas decor, things like that, and then home based businesses like Party Lite, Scentsy, Young Living, different ones like that.”

With the spring trade show not being as well attended, Larochelle expressed that they put more effort into the Christmas Trade Shows. She also expressed her thanks to everyone who attended this weekend’s show.

“I’d like to just thank everybody who came out and attended, and I hope everything was up to what they expected.

The proceeds from this event will be going towards the Biggar Skating Club.
