Motorists are now able to cruise the Outlook and District Regional Park while enjoying an annual Christmas event. Last night the 3rd annual Winter Wonderland Drive –Thru began and runs until December 23rd.

The nighttime attraction features a variety of displays throughout the park and Administrator Kaitlyn Gifford shares those details.

“We have right around 40 campsites that have been decorated by local businesses, our schools and community groups and just a few groups of friends too.”

Every night from 6-9 the park is open to all wishing to view the displays and Gifford shares directions to the entrance.

“You come into Outlook, and you turn west on Progress Avenue and go all the way to the end of the street and our park entry booth is all decorated. We've got blue Christmas lights on it, and a snowman and there will be a few volunteers collecting donations there.”

Attendees and visitors are asked to kindly bring a donation upon entry into the Winter Wonderland, adds Gifford.

“We accept cash donations that stay in the Regional Park, but for sure if you want to bring a food donation, we'll bring it to the food bank”

Finally, Gifford thanks the community of Outlook for the hard work which goes into the Winter Wonderland.

“Thank you to everybody who helped decorate and everybody who volunteered. It takes everybody to make it the awesome event that it is.”
