Kinderlsey Bull rider extraordinaire Dakota Buttar is looking good as the riding season is nearing its end. Buttar is currently sitting in 27th on the PBR world rankings with 802.5 points To ensure his place at the world competition later in the fall, Buttar must be inside the top 35 on the world rankings. First place currently has just over 5,100 points.

To strengthen his position, Dakota has just come off a successful weekend in Anaheim for the PBR Anaheim Invitational. Buttar had a strong showing after riding 'Beaver Creek Beau' to 84 points. He had some trouble in round two and finished the invitational event in 21st.

Maple Creek Native Jared Parsonage, who is ranked number 1 in Canada, also rode in the Anaheim event. He however had some trouble. He was bested by both 'Rotten Bananas in 3.7 seconds and 'Handsome Jeff' in 2.5 second.

Jared is currently sitting just outside of the PBR world's cut off line in the 36th position.

Buttar should now be headed to Springfield Missouri for the PFI Western Invitational. Rides are scheduled to begin on Friday and continue into Sunday.
