The Delisle Chiefs finished off their schedule heading into the Christmas break with a pair of victories over the weekend. Delisle first played the Saskatoon Royals on Friday and fell behind 4-2 after two periods. Chad Westman and Jaden Shewchuk lead the comeback for the Chiefs and Tyson Tuck got the game winner for Delisle with just over four minutes left as the Chiefs added an empty net goal in the 6-4 come from behind win.

The Chiefs finished off the 2019 calendar year with a date with the Carrot River Thunder on Saturday night. Delisle was lead by Luke Dyer and Jaden Shewchuk who had 3 points each and Chad Westman had a goal and an assist in the 5-1 victory. The Chiefs have a 16-6-1 record heading in to the Christmas break which is good for second in their division. Delisle will be back on the ice in the new year against the West Central Rage in Kerrobert on January 3.
