The Rosetown Soccer Association will host the Sask. Central Soccer League Tournament on May 28th. 45 teams totaling around 460 players will head to Rosetown with hopes of capturing glory on the pitch. Ashley Moellenbeck, president of the Rosetown Soccer Association said no matter what, the tournament will go, rain or shine.

Baseball Saskatchewan has officially announced the Angels' bid to host the provincial playoffs in Rosetown. The senior AA tier 3 playoffs begin in Rosetown on August 12th and continue through the 14th. Ryan Wickett, who manages the Angels with fellow player Garrett Johner, said they've been tuning up the field for about 5 years to host provincials.

District play-downs were held on Saturday in North Battleford to determine representatives for the Saskatchewan Seniors Fitness Association 55-plus Games to be held on July 5-6th in North Battleford. Edna Foster, Lucille Hicks, Shirley Martin, Brian Andersen and Bill Shkolny and Ron and Kay Ogg of Herschel area planned to compete in bowling.
