The Kerrobert Rebels high school football team had an exciting quarter final last weekend, defeating Caranport 32-21.

Troy Snider, Head Coach for Kerrobert summed the game up.

"It was an excellent game. It was a great day for football. The boys came to play and got off to a very good start. Caranport had an excellent second half. We roared back, we were able to block a convert with 49 seconds left and then run out the clock to seal the victory."

With the win, the Rebels move on to the Provincial Semi-Finals which take place tomorrow afternoon in Southey.

Snider adds this game will be Kerrobert's biggest test yet.

"We travel to Southey on Saturday. It's a 1 o'clock game. It's a provincial semi-final. Southey is a strong, fast team, they're undefeated. They're going to be a great match for us and we're going to have to bring our very best game if we want come out of there with the victory."
