For the Kindersley Jr Klippers, they were riding some pretty solid momentum coming into Tuesday's game after winning four games out of the five they had played in just six days. With only a single day off between that stretch, now playing game number six in eight days, the Klippers couldn't get too much going and took a loss 4-0 to the Flin Flon Bombers Tuesday night.

Coming into Tuesday's action, the Bombers had won all five games they had played in the month of January after having to deal with a pause, so they came into the game with momentum of their own. They used that momentum to get out to an early 11-0 shot lead that was bolstered by two powerplays, the second of which resulted in the game's first goal. After cycling the puck around the Klippers, a pass from Jaedon Mercier on the right side of the point would go to the left for Rylan Thiessen, and his shot would find it's way past Matt Pesenti 7:52 into the period.

The Klippers started to find a little offensive zone time with a powerplay at the twelve minute mark, and they put some shots on net that Ben Montgomery was able to stop in just his second start in the SJHL, and another powerplay for the Bombers would show up at the end of the period that the Klippers were able to mostly stifle.

After 1: Klippers 0 - 1 Bombers, shots 18-5 Bombers

The second period started off worse for the Klippers. Just 29 seconds in, the Bombers dumped the puck into the offensive zone and Matt Raymond would go behind the net towards Pesenti's blocker side to pick up the puck. Before he went behind the net, he made a slick pass on the backhand out front to a streaking Jaxon Martens who fired a quick wrist shot past Pesenti before he could get back in position and the Bombers were up by two.

Throughout the game, the Klippers weren't happy with some of the penalties that were called on them and some of the others that seemed to be missed. Matt Mazzocchi was chasing a puck down in the offensive zone and went to hit Ethan Anstey just as Anstey put his backhand of his stick against the boards to pick the puck up, showing his numbers just as Mazzocchi hit him, and Mazzocchi would leave an already shorthanded Klippers group with now 11 forwards to finish the game as he was issued a checking from behind.

Offesnively, the Klippers did find a little bit of success in the second period, but still could not get bounces. The line of Charles Obobaifo, Carson Baylis, and Coletyn Borarski again seemed to find a little bit of success but even when they would get a 3-on-1 break the puck would bounce over the stick of Obobaifo and stop the Klippers from being able to generate any momentum.

After 2: Klippers 0 - 2 Bombers, shots 19-8 Bombers in the period, 37-13 Bombers overall

The third period was a quieter one, the Klippers kept pace with the Bombers the best they had all game long, but still they'd only see two more goals put into the back of their net near the end.

With just under three minutes left in the period, Brett Wieschorster would score on the powerplay after a shot from Xavier Lapointe at the middle of the blue line would be stopped by Pesenti, but he lost the puck in the slough of bodies in front of him and Wieschorster found it first, putting it into the open cage to make this game out of reach for the Klippers late.

Jaeden Mercier would add one more for the Bombers with 29 seconds left in the game off a onetimer from the slot, again while the Bombers were on the cycle in the offensive zone, and Ben Montgomery would earn his second straight win in his second start in the SJHL.

FINAL: Klippers 0 - 4 Bombers, shots 15-9 Bombers in the period, 52-22 Bombers overall

Despite allowing four goals on the night, Matt Pesenti was dialed in for the Klippers with a couple highlight reel saves as usual. He still managed a 92.3% save percentage on the night.
