The Kindersley Klippers will try to end a three game losing streak tonight against the Nipawin Hawks. The teams have only faced each other once this year, and the Hawks won 4-1 at home. The Hawks are currently 3rd out of the 12 teams in the SJHL standings, and first in the Sherwood Division.

The Klippers will try to bounce back after losing two tough games to the top ranked Battleford North Stars on the weekend, falling 5-2 in both contests.

Fans will have two opportunities to check out the Kindersley Klippers this week as the team will also host the Estevan Bruins on Friday. The Klippers last win came against the Bruins in which goalie Nick Trenciansky picked up an impressive 52-save shutout in Estevan, and earned Goaltender of the Week honours.

The Klippers are in last place in the Finning Division, and currently sit in 10th in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League standings.

The Klippers are looking for game day volunteers. Email klippersgamenight@gmail.com or go to klippershockey.com to get involved.
