The Kindersley Stallions defeated the Unity Jr. Cardinals for the second time of the week last night, taking their final home game of the regular season 6-2.

Chad Westman took the hill for the Stallions on Tuesday night, and gave up a run early before settling in. The game stayed close the first few innings before the Stallions began to put some hits together, and 2 doubles from Mace Materi in subsequent at-bats gave the horses a lead they would not look back from. A daring delayed steal from Jory Niwa led to the Stallions picking up an extra insurance run, but it wouldn't be needed it as Westman would finish his outing strong, and Tylin Hilbig held off some base runners in the bottom of the 7th to secure the victory.

Kindersley remains undefeated in league play after their latest victory, and will have to win out on the road if they want to stay perfect. Their next game goes tomorrow night in Lloydminister against the Twins, and they will return to Lloyd to face the Border City Blue Jays on Saturday in a doubleheader, after their first contest was postponed due to rain. Sunday will be an off day before they get right back to it Monday, taking on the Unity Sr. Cardinals to close out their season.
