The Rosetown Redwings, playing in the Sask Valley Hockey League is going to be playing an away heavy schedule to open the 2015-16 regular season.

Bob Clothier, manager of the Redwings explains.

"Conquest had already gone to the league scheduling meeting, so when the team came to Rosetown, we decided we would continue on with their schedule as much as possible. You know, trying to reschedule 20 games is pretty tough where rescheduling just our home games was a lot easier so we do play a lot of games on the road at the start of the season then come January, February, you'll see us at home a lot."

The Rosetown Redwings start the season on the road with games on Friday and Saturday in Loreburn and Kenaston respectively.

Other SVHL games on Friday have the Delisle Bruins at home against the Kyle Elks, Kenaston is in Outlook and Eston welcomes Elrose.
