Kindersley RCMP have released an update on the events which occured on Friday, May 27th, 2016:

RCMP arrested three individuals responsible for a home invasion and are currently scheduled to appear today at the Saskatoon Provincial Court House.

On May 27th, 2016 Kindersley RCMP responded to a call of a possible home invasion on the 100 block of 3rd Ave E in Kindersley. RCMP attended the scene where one person was treated by EMS for minor injuries and released on scene. Three suspects involved evaded police but where located in the early afternoon at three separate locations in Kindersley and taken into custody.

30 year old Shawn Finlay was arrested and charged with assault, Uttering threats against a person, being unlawfully in a dwelling, forcible confinement and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.

37 year old Kayl Libke was arrested and charged with assault, forcible confinement, assault causing bodily harm, being unlawfully at large, being unlawfully in a dwelling, failure to comply with condition of undertaking.

19 year old Kaylyn Smoke was arrested and charge with 4 counts of failure to comply with condition of undertaking, forcible confinement, begin unlawfully in a dwelling, uttering threats to property, 3 counts of possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, assault, mischief under $5000 and assault causing bodily harm.

The investigation is currently ongoing and there is a possibility for further charges to be laid.
