Bantam AA Wheat Kings

 

The West Central Bantam AA Wheat Kings were back on the ice this past weekend with a pair of home games in the West Central region. On Friday they played the Battlefords Barons in Kindersley with West Central coming out short of a 6-5 score.
Then they were in Kerrobert Saturday night against the Humboldt Broncos and in another close game the Wheat Kings lost once again 5-4. Karson Blanchette lead the way for the Wheat Kings once again with 2 goals and 3 assists on the weekend. Mitchell Robbie had a good weekend as well putting up 4 points in the 2 games. Tristyn Endicott and Kaitlyn Perlinger each scored on Sunday and Kaden Veller and Carter Ralston each scored as well. Blanchette leads the team in scoring with 15 points in the 6 games played and Mitchell Robbie has 12 for second on the team.
Next action for the Bantam AA Wheat Kings is a road trip starting in Yorkton on Saturday and Melville Sunday. The Wheat Kings will be back at home in Macklin against the Saskatoon Bandits on Friday November 15.

 

Pee AA Wheat Kings

 

The Pee Wee AA Wheat Kings had a busy weekend with three games, all on the road. First they were in Warman playing the Wildcats and won easily 12-0 lead by a 9 point effort by Cole Reschny. Cam Perlinger and Pryce Thiessen had 5 points as well and Cobe Perlinger had a hat rick in the win. Then in the first of back to back games against the Prince Albert Greyhounds they won easily once again 9-0. Cam Perlinger had a 5 goal game in the win along with Reschny collecting 4 more points in the win. They finished up the trip on Sunday with against Prince Albert once again and once again came out on top of the Greyhounds 5-1. Cam Perlinger had 3 points and Pryce Thiessen scored 2 goals in the victory. With the 3 game sweep the Wheat Kings record is pushed to 5-0 to lead their division in the Saskatchewan AA Hockey League.
Cole Reschny leads the Pee Wee AA team with 25 points in just 5 games played and Cam Perlinger is right behind him with 22. Pryce Thiessen leads the team with 12 goals and Cobe Perlinger has 15 points to sit in fourth on the team in scoring after 5 games played this season.
The Wheat Kings are back in the West Central region Friday November 8 in Kindersley against the Humboldt Broncos. Then in Eston on November 9 against the same Humboldt Broncos and finally on Sunday November 10 in Unity against the Melfort Mustangs.
