U15 Western Prairie female hockey team hosted a tournament this weekend in Kindersley.
In the A final it was a battle of the Thunder. Western Prairie vs Western Prairie. The host team WP U15 Thunderbolts against the WP U13AA Thunder.
The final game featuring all local girls and all the local families watching made this a tremendous game.
The speed and skill of these girls was noteworthy, especially when you consider how early in the season it is.
The Bantam girls (or U15) played hard but came up short in their home tournament.
The Peewee girls (U13 AA) Western Prairie Thunder have more than just a strong team. They have all the elements of a great team. They remain unbeaten.
U13AA win 5-2 over U15 Thunderbolts.
