The ice at the AGT Centre in Rosetown has been put in the past few days. Lines have painted along with logos and the circles in the attacking zones and at center ice. The Rosetown Redwings senior hockey team is set to play once again in the Sask Valley Hockey League after 3 years away. Minor hockey is set to begin towards the end of October as practices will begin sometime after Thanksgiving next week. It is still up in the air at this time if the Junior A GMHL West team will play in Rosetown this season but getting the ice in is a step in the right direction as they now will be able to practice. The ice for surrounding communities in the West Central region are being put in with the weather cooling off in the West Central area. In Kyle the ice has been in since October 4. The process of the ice being put in at the AGT Centre started on the 6th of October.
