The Kindersley Royal Canadian Legion Branch #57 held their grand re-opening on Saturday, October 22nd, and the spectacle did not disappoint.

Visitors packed the hall located on the corner of 1st Street East and 2nd Avenue East in Kindersley. Activities and socializing took place in both the main hall and the lounge area downstairs.

On the main floor, guests socialized and had their chance to view the many different items up for auction. Everything from sports memorabilia, home and kitchen accessories, antiques, and more were up for grabs.

The main floor was bustling with people taking in all the sights and sounds; guests enjoyed the revamped look of the the Legion hall including exterior upgrades, windows, etc. Local music trio Blackberry Wine provided the music for the evening as well.

The festivities continued to the basement of the hall featuring some renovations as well; people interacted with each other while enjoying some finger food. Another highlight for the evening was the pizza judging contest. Residents had their shot at crafting their most scrumptious pizza for the chance at being crowned "Kindersley's Best Pizza".

David Burke of the Legion and Country 104's Brad Jennings capped off the event by announcing the winners for the auction pieces and raffles.
