Clayton Braybrook is currently teaching private vocal lessons and private piano lessons in 5 towns around the region. He was teaching before he even got his music education degree at Brandon University. He was teaching competition dancing lessons, and dancing in, and winning at Country Dancing competitions. 30 years of gently guiding others in the right direction.

When you've taught for this long, they call you Mister.

Mr. Braybrook was raised in Virden, MB on a racehorse farm. He went to pony shows, and eventually raced standardbreds under the careful guidance of his parents. Equestrian is another vocation that he has taken with him through life. He's still racing horses in the summer. Those horses compete in winter racing with another trainer in Alberta.

He played his first song on the pump organ at 2 years old.

Teaching music in Elrose, he met Glenda Giles, and together they moved to Kindersley in 1999. He continued to teach music throughout the Sun West School Division. The longest stint was in Coleville.

Besides the private lessons that he teaches, he also helps out as the director of the Kindersley Community Choir, St. Pauls United Church Choir, and handbells. He cut a 9 track CD last summer entitled "Just For Fun". You'll have to contact him if you want a copy of it.

Hear his original song on Classic Hits Radio morning show with Devin Brown.
