Kindersley celebrated the "Class of 2024" this past weekend. On Saturday, Kindersley Composite School had their annual graduation ceremony, followed up by the grad parade down Main Street.

Grad season in Kindersley actually started in early June with the tradition of putting each graduating students photo on the front lawn of the school. After a special lunch with the KCS staff, each student brought their sign home to put up on their front lawn.

Other activities in the leadup to graduation included the final band concert, different academic and school awards being presented, and also another year of the Grade 12 vs Staff slo-pitch game. The last day of classes were June 18, and then exams were the final step before graduation could commence.

Parents and friends of the graduating class were able to tune in to the festivities through the Kindersley High School Facebook page. Find the full ceremony here, and a ten minute video of the grad parade here, to go along with the photo of the KCS Class of 2024 available below.

Grad season is nearing it's end around west-central. Many towns have already had their ceremonies and parades, though Rosetown Central High School has theirs set for later this week on Thursday.

WestCentralOnline will have more on that, as a big congratulations goes out to every west-central student graduate in 2024.
