The Sask First Male Top 160 Tournament wrapped up in Regina this past weekend and some local Bantam AA hockey players were in attendance. Unity's Karson Blanchette  and Team Red defeated Team Green 3-2 in the C Final. In other finals action Delisle Bruins AA player and native Tyler Sanders and Team White defeated Dodsland native and Wheat Kings goaltender Blake Sittler and Team Navy 6-2 in the B Final.

Team Orange went on to win the A final of the tournament by a score of 3-2 over Team Black.

The Saskatchewan Hockey Association in partnership with the WHL is set to host the Sask First Male Bantam Top 160 Tournament from December 27 to 29 at the Co-operators Centre in Regina.

Players born in 2005 will showcase their skills in a team setting with SHA evaluators and scouts from a variety of leagues in attendance. The 160 players selected out of regional camps in the north and south will be placed on eight (8) teams for a three-day tournament.

Of the 160 players in the tournament, six of them are from the West Central region including Mitchell Robbie from Rosetown and Noah Duerkson from Kindersley who both play with the Bantam AA Wheat Kings. Other players joining Robbie and Duerkson are Karson Blanchette from Unity and Blake Sittler from Dodsland who also play for the Wheat Kings.

Robbie and Sittler are playing on Team #5 along with Rylan Williams from Kyle who plays for the Swift Current AA Broncos. Blanchette is suiting up for Team #6 and Tyler Sanders from Delisle will play for Team #7 as he plays for the Delisle Bruins Bantam AA team.
