Many people in Saskatchewan this year are wondering where the warm temperatures went as this summer has been on average very cool. Maybe the heat just hasn't arrived yet?

Last year residents throughout Saskatchewan were blessed with the warmest September on record, and after a disappointing summer weather wise in the province, many people are hoping for a repeat of last year.

Environment Canada's David Phillips says that last year, September was on average warmer than June, July and August, something he hasn't seen in his 40 years of service. Phillips adds that this years forecast shows nothing to suggest that September this year will be just as nice.

There is good news however, Labour Day long weekend calls for a very slim chance of rain and close to seasonal temperatures.

On top of the below seasonal temperatures this summer, Saskatchewan has received double the average precipitation through the summer months and shattered every possible record in doing so.

What adds to the Saskatchewan misery is that the majority of Canada is experiencing above seasonal temperatures.
