The Kindersley Klippers suffered a tough loss on Friday, losing 7-3 against the Humboldt Broncos.

From the very beginning, the Klippers fell behind, with the Broncos scoring their first goal inside four minutes thanks to Tristan Shewchuck. Reid Arnold came in a few minutes later to score Humboldt’s second goal of the game.

The second period was a roller coaster. Once again, Shewchuck come sin for an early period goal, scoring in less than two minutes. Josh Phallus and Zach Mcintyre scored the next two goals for the Broncos, bringing their total to 5. Kindersley finally managed to score their first goal at 18:33 thanks to Ethan King, but before the period was over, Humboldt snuck in one last goal from Bryson Cecconi.

Kindersley were able to make some progress in the third period. Two goals were scored by Dawson McKenzie and Kyle Bosch, but that’s where it ended, and the Broncos were able to get one last puck in the net at 19:47, (13 seconds lefft on the clock) thanks again to Shewchuck.

The Klippers and Broncos were fairly neck and neck when it came to shots on net, with Humboldt ending the game with 36 total shots. Just ahead of Kindersley, with 32.

The MVP for the Klippers was Dawson McKenzie, with one goal and one assist. Meanwhile, MVP for Humboldt was easily Tristan Shewchuck, with 3 goals.
